+ Over the break I had the pleasure of designing my first paid web page. Designing and coding the page proved to be challenging. Keeping the site edgy and simple while trying to stick to the original topic was an interesting task that caused me to surf the web frequently and discover sites I never would have otherwise. All of this shaped my design style and greatly impacted the rest of my work.
+ Something I love about 21st century media is the ability to make connects to people in your own community and all the way across the world. The enormous amount of information that can be traded between any individuals is inspiring. On the flip side, misinformation can be shared just as quickly as correct information. While this can be beneficial, I find it clutters (or can clutter) useful information feeds.
+ In the future I hope to graduate Champlain with two degrees (one in graphic design, one in marketing.) Ideally, this will help me get a job in an advertising firm designing print ads.
